Tampines library and a lunch catch up

I am accustomed to working from home 3 to 4 days in a week. I admit it gets dull at times. It's as if I am having cabin fever of some sort when I stay home continuously. So, every now and then, I like to switch things up a bit and work elsewhere like a cafe or a library. A change of scenery does wonders for my productivity.

When a friend suggested meeting for lunch in Tampines today, I decided to take the opportunity to explore the Tampines Regional Library and get some work done there in the morning. I really really like that library. I hope to have the chance to go there again although its a fair distance to travel from my home by train.

It was nice to have lunch with Angeline and Geeta at Fish & Co at Tampines 1 after my work session in the library. The seafood platter for one is to die for! And, I must also mention that the sotong and prawns were especially shiok! 😋

I am a seafood lover. So, the meal was heavenly.

What a nice way to end the month of March!

"Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.

He is rich who owns the day,

and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.

Finish every day and be done with it.

You have done what you could.

Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.

Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;

begin it well and serenely,

with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.

This new day is too dear,

with its hopes and invitations,

to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson
